Web Design & Development

Guided Content Worksheet

Everything we need to build your website — in one place. Work through it at your own pace; you don't need to be a writer or a designer. Anything you leave blank, we can create for you.

Your business1 / 10
01 Your business at a glance

Tell us who you are

The foundation. This shapes your homepage, your messaging, and how we position you against your competitors.

As it should appear on the website.
e.g. "We're a Stony Plain plumbing company handling emergency repairs and renovations for homeowners."
Homeowners, other businesses, a specific industry, an age group, an area?
Experience, speed, price, warranty, local knowledge, certifications, personality — list a few.
What is the #1 thing you want your website to do?
02 Brand & visual assets

What we'll build it from

Upload what you have right here — it's the stuff most likely to slow a build down, so getting it in now keeps things fast.

Which logo files do you have?
Upload your logo files
No usable logo, or only a low-res one? Our Brand Starter package (from $995) gives you a proper logo, colour palette, fonts, and a mini brand guide — just ask.
HEX codes, names, or "not sure".
    If you have specific ones.
    Brand / style guide
What imagery do you have for the site?
      Upload photos & images
Need visuals? We offer professional brand & product photography (from $695) and custom AI-crafted imagery you won't find on a stock site (from $250 a set).
They don't have to be in your industry. Tell us what catches your eye: the colours, the layout, the vibe.
Styles, colours, or competitor sites you'd rather steer clear of.
        03 Your pages

        Which pages your site needs

This sets the shape of the project. Tick the ones you want — we'll confirm the final count with you.

        Core pages
Careers, locations, case studies, policies, a members area — anything else.
Your package includes a set number of pages. Extra pages are $295 each (blog posts & product listings $75) — never added as a surprise.
        04 Page-by-page content

        What goes on each page

The heart of the worksheet. Bullet points are perfectly fine — we'll shape the wording. Leave any box blank and we can write it for you.

Your headline / main promise. e.g. "Edmonton's trusted name in emergency plumbing — done right, the first time."
How you started, what you stand for, what makes you tick.
One per line is great. Note any you want featured most prominently.
Want this written professionally instead of fill-in-the-blank? Done-for-you copywriting from $175/page (homepage from $395).
Include the customer's name (and company / city if relevant).
        05 How people reach you

        Your contact details

The details that go on your Contact page and in your site footer.

Or "by appointment" / "service area only".
Which contact methods do you want on the site?
Paste the full links to any profiles you want linked — Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business, etc.
        06 Getting found on Google

        Help us help you rank

A few details so your site is built to be found, not just to look good.

List 4–6 phrases. e.g. "plumber Stony Plain", "emergency drain repair Edmonton".
A link is ideal. We use these to differentiate you, not to copy them.
        07 Features & integrations

What your site needs to do

Anything beyond looking great and telling your story.

        Which features do you want?
CRM, email marketing (Mailchimp etc.), booking software, POS, accounting, scheduling.
E-commerce (from $1,500) and online booking (from $750) are available as add-ons — we'll scope and price anything you tick.
08 Domain, hosting & current site

        Where your site lives

        Just the facts here.

        e.g. yourbusiness.ca
        e.g. GoDaddy, Google Domains
Specific text, photos, blog posts, testimonials — or "start fresh".
Please don't enter any passwords or logins here. When we need access, we'll send you a secure, encrypted way to share it — that keeps your accounts safe.
        09 Logistics & sign-off

        The last few details

So we know who to talk to and when everything's ready.

Special requirements, sensitivities, big dates, future plans — anything that helps us build the right site.
        10 Review & send

        One last look

Here's everything you've entered. Jump back to any section to edit, then send it straight to our team.

        Worksheet received — thank you!

Your content and files are on their way to our team. We'll review everything within a couple of business days and confirm next steps by email.

        Attachments & More

        Heavy-Duty Meets High-Impact Design

When Attachments & More approached us to rebuild their online presence, we knew it was time to bring bold energy to an industry that often plays it safe online. Led by dedicated owners Darin “Chuck” Holowaychuk and Sharon Holowaychuk, this family-run business specializes in heavy-duty equipment and custom attachments—most notably their growing line of compact loaders and accessories from Avant, one of their premier manufacturers.

Our goal? Deliver a visually impactful, user-friendly website that not only showcases their equipment lineup and services, but positions Attachments & More as a standout in their market. The final result is a vivid, modern, and technically robust site that captures their brand personality and puts them steps ahead of competitor sites in the heavy equipment and compact loader space.

Beyond the design and development, we also navigated a challenging handoff process from a previous developer and hosting company—helping consolidate logins, assets, and systems under one roof for greater control, security, and ease of management for their team.

From the clean navigation and intuitive equipment browsing to the dynamic visual layout that champions their Avant partnership, this build was all about bringing clarity and authority to their online voice—while ensuring the backend runs just as smoothly as the frontend looks.

Today, we’re proud to provide secure hosting, ongoing site maintenance, and continued digital support for the Attachments & More team.

We’re even prouder to have worked alongside such dedicated business owners who care deeply about quality, relationships, and doing things right.

We partner with venues that offer unique and memorable experiences. Our collaboration with The Whitewood Barn, a premier wedding and event space nestled in the heart of Alberta, exemplifies this commitment.

        The Whitewood Barn

        • Website Design & Development: We developed a modern, responsive website that captures the rustic elegance of The Whitewood Barn. The site showcases their stunning 40-acre property, featuring a 2,400-square-foot barn, outdoor ceremony spaces, and a clear-roofed Ramada, providing visitors with a comprehensive view of the venue’s offerings.

        Shield Fire Protection

Working with Shield Fire Protection was a truly rewarding experience. From day one, owner Bill Hansen and Service & Inspection Manager Dan Litrop brought a clear, focused vision to the table. They knew exactly what their website needed to accomplish: communicate professionalism, reinforce trust, and reflect the technical expertise that defines their fire protection services across Alberta.

At Alchemy Imageworks, our role was to translate that vision into a modern, high-performance website that not only looked exceptional but also supported Shield’s credibility and operational goals. We developed a clean, structured, and fully responsive website that showcases their services with clarity, authority, and immediate accessibility. Every component — from page layout and navigation to copy structure and visual hierarchy — was crafted to support both user trust and business growth.

Beyond the build itself, we now provide secure web hosting and ongoing site maintenance, ensuring the Shield Fire Protection website remains protected, fast, stable, and up-to-date year-round. With cyberthreats evolving and online expectations rising, maintaining their digital foundation with enterprise-grade hosting, proactive updates, real-time monitoring, and regular security hardening is essential. Bill and Dan can stay focused on their clients, knowing their online presence is fully managed behind the scenes.

Working with Shield Fire Protection was a win from start to finish — collaborative, efficient, and driven by a shared commitment to quality. We’re proud to support their brand with a website that reflects the strength and reliability of the services they provide throughout Alberta.
