We deeply value and respect the histories, cultures, and traditions of Indigenous Peoples whose lands we live and work on. We are committed to fostering meaningful relationships with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities through collaboration, understanding, and shared respect. Our pledge is to honor these relationships by engaging with openness and sincerity, ensuring that our work reflects our dedication to reconciliation and mutual growth.

We recognize that much of our work takes place on lands with profound historical and cultural significance to Indigenous Peoples. As a company, we strive to ensure that the communities we engage with are empowered, involved, and benefit equitably from any collaborative initiatives. This commitment extends to preserving the natural environment, respecting cultural heritage, and supporting sustainable growth in Indigenous communities.

Honoring the Lands We Work On

We acknowledge the traditional lands and territories of the Indigenous Peoples who have cared for these lands since time immemorial. Alchemy Imageworks is based in Alberta, which encompasses the territories of Treaties 6, 7, and 8, as well as the historical Northwest Métis Homeland.

• Treaty 6 Territory: Traditional lands of the Cree, Nakota Sioux, Saulteaux, and Métis peoples.
• Treaty 7 Territory: Traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Kainai, Piikani, Siksika), Tsuut’ina Nation, Stoney Nakoda, and Métis peoples.
• Treaty 8 Territory: Traditional lands of the Dene, Cree, Saulteaux, and Métis peoples.

We are grateful to the Traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders, both past and present, who have helped preserve these lands for generations. Their wisdom continues to inspire and enrich our communities today. This acknowledgment is an ongoing act of reconciliation and gratitude.
